I went on an excursion my self this week..JURY DUTY.

Life  being  a continuum of education, I learnt about the law and the Jury system in context and immersed using all my senses.

The system of Jury selection can be read about in a book but the feelings of nervousness, the highly structured and formalness of the occasion cannot.

You get to experience a Judge, Barrister/s, the Accused and Court officials speak and see their attire first hand, which cannot be duplicated in a classroom.

The architecture of the room could be investigated in a a classroom, looking at floorplans and images but being surrounded by the whole arrangement gives a whole sense of the court process.
